Phototherapy services in Midland Michigan
We offer narrowband UVB Phototherapy services in Midland Michigan. This may be used to treat multiple different skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, generalized itching, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Phototherapy utilizes ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength that has been proven to have strong anti-inflammatory properties on the skin. It is an FDA approved treatment and has been shown to be highly effective and safe. Treatment may be given for the whole body or for the hands and feet only. Treatments are usually covered by insurance. Treatment is generally done three times per week in the office, and duration of treatment depends on the severity of the skin condition and how quickly it clears.
